Edit: So this photo is doing quite well on Flickr right now and I gotta say–I’m pretty surprised because I was very close to throwing it in the bin in favour or something else. I just kept shooting and shooting and getting nothing that really did it for me. There are times when I’m desperately trying to get a look, maybe tick all  the boxes for stuff I want in the photo but it just doesn’t work as harmoniously as I hoped.

I ended up sticking with it in the end, but it was all through some labourous Photoshop efforts of touching things up that I said, “You know what? I spent time on this. Why not.” When I post to Flickr I mainly do it for myself as a means of expression. Blogging is such a huge perk on the side and keeps everything spicy. But I posted it, and here we are–some people saying this is the best photo I’ve ever done!

Wetwork in a Hollywood sense has always be a slick and unyielding thought for most roleplays. When your main base…your HQ is in a cyberpunk world–it becomes a way of life. It seems anyone can be bought and it doesn’t matter if you’re a professional or a paperboy–you can be swayed to extinguish a life for the right price. However, our subject here clearly looks fit for the job, and judging by that posture of ease, clearly isn’t her first time at the rodeo.

Mean Streets

Good morning! So I’ve been sitting on this one for a minute–I took a test shot and loved it so much (and got a great response from Twitter about ), that I decided instead of reshooting it that I would just layer it over a background.

I thought the disjointed layer looked punchy! I always fancy trying something new anyway 🙂

So after I took it, I couldn’t help but reminise about a Sega Genesis (Or Mega Drive for the Euro crowd!) game called Road Rash. The chain she’s swinging in the photo took me back to the good ‘ole days of full on stomping my sibling from their bike, sending them flying in a big ball of flame. Ah, video games!

Morning Coffee – XXVII

Time to dust this thing off! It’s been since December and I’ve properly neglected my poor blog. Not to say a lot hasn’t been going on–we’ve changed all sorts in the city, I’m always taking photos, and the RP has got juicy. Without further ado, here’s a little photo dump:

I’ve been mainly focusing on letting my RP character Nairn blossom within the criminal organisation–Shinigami. I find it to be a great honour both IC and OOC to participate in such a well planned and thought out idea. Plus, it’s an absolute blast playing her.

As for the city, we’ve release a new meter! It’s downright brilliant. You can now earn prestige and credits straight into the meter, transfer assets through ATMs and get paid for IC jobs! Stark has also put the infamous monorail back in for action, the depots high above city ground. Such a good feature to get around and see the sights. Oh, and the docks have been souped up too! There’s just so much that changes from day to day for the better–makes me a happy bunny.

Confession! I was reminded to come back here because I signed up for the Lelutka Powder Pack and was poking around in my inventory at old makeups and items. My blogs were a guide so I wasn’t lost (lol). I’ll be blogging it on the 15th when it comes out, if not to serve any other purpose than to help my daft brain navigate around the folders. 🙂
